Today the Crimson Giant raspberry plugs came in from North American Plants. They were planted in the grow bags and complete the group of cultivars that were selected for the “High Tunnel Production Rotation of Primocane Bearing Raspberries in Grow Bags” project funded by a Specialty Crop Block Grant. Susanne Howard harvested vegetables today including the second harvest of Alcosa savoy type mini cabbage and the first harvest of Caraflex pointed mini cabbage. The vegetables will be removed after harvest and the raspberry grow bags will be rotated into the space.
