At the Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station

Ozarks heritage class tours the Mountain Grove Campus

On February 2, Lori Hyde’s Ozarks Heritage Class toured the Mountain Grove Campus. Organized by Jeff Gettys, the group participated in a presentation on the history of the State Fruit Experiment Station and then toured Faurot Hall which is on the National Register of Historic Places. They also toured the campus area and ended their tour at the weather station which has been operating for over 100 years. We enjoyed working with this Mountain Grove High School group who were interested in the information and very well-mannered.
