How to Safely View a Solar Eclipse:

- Wear approved eye-wear, such as solar eclipse glasses from Prevent Blindness.
- Purchase solar eclipse glasses that have the ISO 12312-2 filters .
- Ensure your solar eclipse glasses are not damaged or scratched in any way.
- Wear solar eclipse glasses over prescription eye-wear.
- Wear solar eclipse glasses when you look at an eclipse, even when it’s dark or dim outside.
Remember: Homemade filters or ordinary sunglasses, even very dark ones, are not safe for looking at the sun or an eclipse.
