Survey results are based on the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) survey or similar question, “Which of the following BEST describes your PRIMARY status after graduation?”

The data below is what gets turned into Missouri Department of Higher Education. This has been done for two years. We improved the overall outcomes rate this year, while keeping the same high knowledge rate (from direct student input and reports from faculty, advisors, and LinkedIn, as well as National Student Clearinghouse Student Tracker and Banner for continuing ed at MSU).

NACE Career Outcomes Rates

The professional organization, National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), sets First-Destination Standards and Protocols and calculates the “success” rate differently. Individuals not seeking employment or education are excluded from the denominator, and part-time jobs are counted as a successful outcome. Our NACE career outcomes rates are as follows:

NACE 2018: 89.7%

NACE 2017: 89.3 %
