Students will receive additional financial support soon

Missouri State University students may soon see a boost to their bank accounts. The university’s Springfield campus received about $20.8 million of federal stimulus funds through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. The West Plains campus received another $1.8 million. Missouri State, health department host mega COVID-19 vaccination event

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department, Missouri State University and area partners invite community members to a COVID-19 vaccine mega event April 8-9 at Hammons Student Center. Clinic organizers plan to vaccinate 10,000 people over the two days, which would be the largest single-site event so far in the state. University to refund $1.9 million in online fees

Missouri State University undergraduate students who were enrolled in some online classes in fall 2020 will receive partial tuition refunds. The Board of Governors approved the refunds at their Feb. 19 meeting. MSU-Springfield will use $1.9 million in remaining money from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to provide the refunds. Missouri State begins CARES Act emergency financial aid distribution

Missouri State University began it’s $6.9 million payout of emergency financial aid authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.  Immediate Assistance Grants sent to qualifying students  The first phase of the university’s relief plan totals $1.6 million in Immediate Assistance Grants.
