This year we planted tomatoes in our straw bale garden in the Ozarks Home Landscape and decided on a color theme. I chose four tomatoes each of a different color at Simpson's Family Farm just north of us and planted one tomato per bale. Yes, it rained all weekend! This has tested the mettle of our rain gardens as we complete them this year. The rains last year and this spring have shown us where adjustments need to be made.
