Congratulations to Biology instructor Tina Hopper, who won an Assessment Grant for the Summer 2019 semester. Hopper’s project hopes to increase collaboration between general education instructors in Biology.
Her hope is that if all general education instructors have parallel goals, all students will have a parallel learning experience regardless of which section of BIO 101 they attend.
Hopper states, “The assessment grant will enable collaboration of all BIO 101 instructors to implement practices that meet general education goals and find a method to efficiently and effectively evaluate student learning pertaining to these goals.”
Increased collaboration among instructors will improve the general education experience for students across campus. The Office of Assessment would like to extend a thank you to Tina Hopper for her efforts.
