I know grapes are the preferred food of Japanese beetles and have been watching them devour the leaves. After each pesticide application, they come back for more. To add insult to injury, the deer have been working on the Winery vineyard planting. I am just glad our field crew put grow tubes on the newly planted vines just east of that vineyard.
