Faculty recognized for Excellence in Teaching
I also want to congratulate our faculty who recently received the 2014 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. This year’s recipients are Dr. Beth Hurst (College of Education, Springfield campus) and Judy Carr (Sociology and Honors Department, West Plains campus).
The Governor’s Award for Excellence in Education is presented to an outstanding faculty member from each participating higher education institution in the state. The awards are based on effective teaching, advising and service to the university community, commitment to high standards of excellence and success in nurturing student achievement. Dr. Hurst and Ms. Carr are very deserving of this honor.
Thanks for all you do for Missouri State!
