The 2020 Assessment Workshop begins Tuesday, May 19th with teams of faculty and students from across campus set to review topics they have identified in their programs as targets for change or revision, and the participation of the Dean of Graduate College, Dr. Julie Masterson.

The areas of focus for these groups are varied as well, including:
- Revising of comprehensive final exams
- Reviewing teaching strategies for dual- & mixed-credit courses
- Aligning learning goals with specific courses
- A review of graduate grading rubrics
- Evaluating graduate students’ culminating projects
We look forward to sharing our colleagues’ findings and plans after the workshop’s conclusion in the hope that it serves as a sharable faculty resource as well as giving graduate programs a collaborative space to think through their own processes.
