Mountain Grove Cellars is making peach brandy this year. This process begins in the field where our field crew does a professional job pruning, spraying and maintaining the crop. The field crew is putting nets on the Vignoles grapes to keep the birds away from the fruit. The winged nemeses have been flying around, looking at the grapes, and licking their beaks. Birds tend to like smaller berries, like Vignoles, as well as purple or red berries.
