VPN service has been resolved. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Overnight, many people received duplicate emails with reminders of timesheet submission deadlines. We are working with the software vendor, Ellucian, to determine what caused the problem. We realize the extra emails were unwelcome and we regret the inconvenience.

The university’s main home page is now available.
On Sunday, January 28, the following systems will be updated and therefore unavailable:
- 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Admin Banner, BDM, SSB8, Self Service 9, our custom web applications, and all other systems reliant upon the database will not be available during this time.
There will be no impact to other systems such as: University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, video surveillance systems, electronic door access, and the application for admission.
To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to the Banner environment on Sunday.

Update (6:40 PM): Blackboard Learn and other applications that utilize the university’s legacy authentication system are now available. University VPN services remain unavailable.
On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, several university systems will be down for scheduled maintenance:
- 12:01 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. – Internet for Springfield, West Plains and Mountain Grove campuses will be unavailable.
- 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Blackboard Learn and other applications that utilize the university’s legacy authentication system may not be available.
- 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Several core networks and systems will be upgraded. Users of university services may notice intermittent outages during this time.
