Completed – Internet Update – Sunday, March 12

On Sunday, March 12, the University Internet will be briefly disrupted:

  • 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Updates will be performed that will cause the University Internet to be unavailable during multiple outages of less than 2 minutes.

There will be no impact to other systems such as: phone systems, Banner, video surveillance systems, and electronic door access.

Completed – Emergency Network Maintenance Sunday, September 4, 2022

The emergency network maintenance has been completed.  The network was offline for less than a minute at 7:10 PM but all systems are back online.

Network Outage

The networks at Missouri State University are experiencing an unplanned outage affecting many servers and services. Our staff is working as quickly as possible to locate and resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to restore full services soon.

We are experiencing network difficulties that are affecting multiple systems in the Cheek Hall data center. This includes some of the wireless controllers. Our whole team is trying to find the source of the problems. We will convey information as it becomes available.
