Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries visits Missouri State

Dr. Kim Jong-Sook and 21 students and growers from the Korea National College of Agriculture and Fisheries visited the State Fruit Experiment Station for a lecture on Missouri Grapes followed by a tour of the MSU Winery and Distillery. Mr. Harold Chung of C&T tours served as guide and interpreter. Tomorrow is the last day of their week-long tour of Missouri.

After the lecture, the group went to the distillery where C. J. Odneal led the tour.

From the distillery, we went to the crush pad where grapes are destmmed, crushed and pumped into fermentation tanks (red grapes) or directly into the press (white grapes).

The group then went into the winery where MSU wines are produced and bottled.

Leslie Akers and Pam Turner sold wine and spirits to the group. They thought the MSU label on the wine would be a great souvenir for their visit to Missouri.
