This September, the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and Leadership Foundation announced Missouri State’s Kappa Omicron chapter as recipients to the Regional award.

Regional – Outstanding Service for a Collegiate Chapter

The Regional award is presented annually to a chapter that plans and implements the most effective and comprehensive program of service to others.

“To win this award is a testament to the chapter’s overall excellence.”

“To be recognized for an award, the chapter must submit an online application.”

Each application is first reviewed by a group of Fraternity volunteers within each region (groups of five to ten collegiate chapters in a geographic area). Regional winners are then progressed to a provincial award selection committee. (Provinces include: Northeastern, North Central, Southern, South Central and Western and each province has approximately 40 to 50 chapters). Deltasig’s National Scholastic Development and Awards Committee, led by an appointed individual who has shown years of dedicated service to the Fraternity, then selects a national winner from the five provincial winners.

Clubs and student organizations, like Delta Sigma Pi, help to enhance the university experience, which will benefit students as they graduate and embark upon careers! We would like to acknowledge Missouri State’s Kappa Omicron chapter for their on-going hard work and achievements this year. As members of the College of Business, the Marketing Department is so proud to share this wonderful achievement.
