Today we feature an exceptional graduate student, Sadia Raisa! Sadia has just come back from presenting in the Atlantic Marketing Association Conference, while working as a Graduate Assistant in the Marketing Department at Missouri State University.
Sadia Raisa is a graduate student getting her Master’s in Project Management here at Missouri State University. She is also working in the Marketing Department as a graduate research assistant for Dr. Ismet Anitsal.
Originally from Bangladesh, Sadia will be graduating this upcoming Fall of 2023. She recently gave an incredible research presentation in an academic conference, Atlantic Marketing Association Conference which happened in North Carolina, Wilmington City, USA. The paper titled, “Improving Quality of Distance Education: An Illustration and Implications for Universities,” was presented in-person, and the manuscript was published in the refereed conference proceedings. The research study was conducted alongside the help of Marketing Department Head, Dr. Ismet Anitsal, and Project Management program director, Dr. Nebil Buyurgan.
The Atlantic Marketing Association is an international organization that concentrates on merging academic theory with applied business practices. Members include academic professors, doctoral students, and business professionals from around the globe. Writing an academic research paper of the caliber and level that is accepted at AtMA is nothing short of extra ordinary, and we are extremely proud of Sadia. When asked about her experience she said, “I have worked on this study with Dr. Ismet Anitsal and Dr. Nebil Buyurgan. With their tremendous support our study got accepted for the conference presentation and proceedings.”
The study in question focused on three main aspects:
- The importance of Distance Education, delving into the challenges of improving and sustaining the quality of it that cater to the requirements of both students and instructors.
- It also introduces the House of Quality to identify and prioritize the requirements of students and instructors to ensure high-quality distance education learning experiences.
- It concludes by exploring the implications for future research in this field, emphasizing the need for further development and exploration in the realm of distance education quality management.
Sadia Raisa’s presentation not only showcased her in-depth understanding of the subject matter but also her remarkable ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and passion.
Congratulations, Sadia! Well done!!
