Internship Opportunity: Marketing Intern at The Larson Group (TLG Peterbilt)

The Larson Group (TLG Peterbilt) is looking for a Marketing Intern to join their Dynamic team for the summer. As the Marketing Intern’s primary responsibility is to assist the marketing department with marketing activities and administrative support related to internal and external marketing and communications for The Larson Group (TLG Peterbilt).

 

**This is a paid full-time position (40 hours) during the summer with the potential for part-time position during the fall academic year.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with customer-facing digital campaigns:
    • Assist in creating content, posting and engaging with our audience on social media.
    • Assist with email marketing campaigns
  • Work on basic graphic design projects.
  • Content writing for internal and external news (blog posts, intranet posts such as employee anniversaries and store events).
  • Assist with basic website content updates in the CMS and online business listings updates (Google Business Profile).
  • Online Reputation Management – Assist in monitoring and respond to Google Reviews.
  • Learn to utilize project management software (Asana) to ensure strong. communication and effective project management among the marketing team.
  • Research assistance (trends and competitor research).
  • Shoot photos and video with professional grade equipment.
  • Assist with special events planning and presentation requests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least a sophomore currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in marketing, advertising, communications or related field.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable using Mac products.
  • Passion for marketing and communications that generate results.
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Internship End Date:  08/19/24
    Intern Compensation ($/hr):  $12-15/hr
