During the panel, the Nixa High School AP Research students who are working on developing their research for their projects – creating surveys, collecting data, analyzing the data, etc. – were given the opportunity to ask, the research panel consisting of Missouri State professors, questions during the panel. Questions that were asked, were answered by our panelist based on their experiences and knowledge, having conducted numerous research of their own throughout their careers. Below, are student testaments describing their experience having been given this opportunity.
“I really enjoyed meeting all the professors. Their tips and insight were extremely helpful in organizing and progressing my research. Besides questions about research, I loved meeting new people and establishing connections with local experts.” – Aydia Lancaster
“It was such a wonderful experience having the opportunity to hear from experts in the research field. I am going back to school with new ideas for methodology and with a greater love for research!” – Madeline Morris
“This experience was super immersive and helpful to my research now and all future experiences.” – Ally Eckels
At the Marketing Department, we are very glad to hear that this panel was helpful, insightful, and an overall success. The department strives to provide students with quality resources, and impactful learning opportunities.

Statements from the students regarding this opportunity are listed below.
“I really valued the opportunity to have one-on-one interactions with professors experienced in the field of study as my research. Each professor offered a unique set of insights that will be very helpful in further constructing my literature review and method.” – Aven Goodnight

The students AP Research teacher, Amanda Stoll, also shares with us,
“Thank you so much for organizing this panel for the students today. All of the students told me that this was incredibly beneficial in helping them with their research. I thought this was organized better than I could have imagined, and I am extremely grateful to you for putting this together and to all of the professors who took the time this morning to help my students with their research. I hope we can do this again next year.”
The Marketing Department is very glad to hear that this event has been such a successful and helpful event for these students. We’re committed to providing the best experience, and resources to our local community as well. We look forward to seeing how these students’ research develops, and potentially hosting a similar event again next year!
