As we work to reduce our footprint in accordance with campus sustainability efforts, the Office of Assessment will now be using SharePoint to distribute student Public Affairs essay responses from the University Exit Exam with deans and department heads across campus. Deans will have access to all departments in their college site while department heads will have access to view essays from students in their departments. The Office of Assessment will grant permissions to different faculty members at the request of the dean. You will be able to use this information to assess student learning in relation to the Public Affairs goals.

Navigating the Sites

Each site is tied to a particular college where we will share students’ Public Affairs essays with their respective colleges. There is a site page for each department in the college.  For instance, CHPA has a page for each of the following departments:

  • Criminology
  • Economics
  • History
  • Philosophy
  • Political Science
  • Religious Studies
  • Sociology & Anthropology

Links to each of these pages appear in the site navigation on the left-hand side of the page.  Each site page has it’s own designated document library where public affairs essays are housed.

We Can Help

If you have any questions about the essays or need help navigating the site, please contact the Office of Assessment via email at assessment@missouristate.edu.
