Grape root borer in old foundation vineyard

Jeremy found a grape root borer in the bed of the pickup after pulling out some grapevines.

The field crew was removing some vines from the Foundation vineyard and Jeremy found a grape root borer in the bed of the pickup after they had put the vines on the brush pile. Grape harvest and wine production update

C. J. (left), Karl (Dr. Wilker), Tom and Avery are bottling Maroon Blend from 2017 to make room for the 2018 wine coming in.

Right now we have harvested most of the grapes and are waiting for Chambourcin and Norton to ripen. With all of the rain, we have been battling sour rot, but since we are hand harvesting with a good crew, we can remove rot from the clusters before the grapes are taken to the winery.
