• Partnerships – On the first blog we mentioned several partnerships and resources that have made this project possible and will continue to assist with the move into the new University Recreation Center. We would like to give thanks to a few additional partnerships.
o Plaster Sports Complex and Hammons Student Center – Keith Boaz and Laree Moore with PSC and HSC have been instrumental in assisting with us getting information about the strength equipment from the 2009 Wyrick proposal. This free weight and plate loaded equipment will be moved into the University Recreation Center. We have also partnered with Athletics in use of space and are grateful for this relationship on campus.
o Payroll and Human Resources – Recently, we have switched over all of our student employment positions to the University Recreation Center. The Payroll Office and Human Resources have been assisted in crunch to help us pull this together before the school year begins. Thank you!
Next Update. The next update will include additional information concerning building policies, rental procedures, and an update on construction.
