Register now for assessment conference
Dates: March 7 and 8
Location: PSU third floor
The Office of Assessment, in collaboration with the Center of Inquiry, is hosting a workshop to train faculty and students on using student-led focus groups to gather and make sense of assessment evidence. There are still openings for last-minute registrations. Bring your team of four (2 faculty & 2 students)! You’ll not only learn how to implement a focus group for assessment, but you’ll receive assistance developing a plan and follow-up help from the Center of Inquiry team as you implement it over the coming year.
The Senior Survey is the first part of the University Exit Exam. It is a brief series of questions selected to satisfy state reporting requirements and for internal efforts toward program improvement. The survey includes first-destination information, a satisfaction question, and the chance for students to comment on their experience at MSU. At times, the Senior Survey includes additional research questions that provide useful data to various offices on campus. In the past, these have included questions on academic advisement, library use, and sustainability practices.
