Greetings! The Banner infrastructure upgrades have been completed and verified by Computer Services personnel. The system became available for use at 10:25 AM.

On Sunday, April 26, 2020, the following systems will be upgraded and therefore unavailable:
- 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Banner applications will not be available.
There will be no impact to other systems such as: University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, CashNet, video surveillance systems, electronic door access systems, and the application for admission.
To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to the Banner environment on Sunday morning.

Greetings! The Banner upgrades have been completed and verified by Computer Services personnel. The system became available for use at 6 PM.
On Friday, April 17, 2020, the following systems will be replaced with newer equipment and therefore unavailable:
- 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – All Internet access to and from the Springfield, West Plains and Mountain Grove campuses will be unavailable. Logging in to Blackboard and Office 365 from off campus will not work during this time, but the services will be available for previously logged in users.
Internet access for Commercial Network services such as those used by the eFactory downtown will not be affected. Other services not affected include phone systems, electronic door access and video surveillance systems.
To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services occasionally must update and replace equipment. Friday evening the firewall that protects the University network will be replaced with a newer model that will include additional security features as well as handle higher speeds.

- 6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Banner, the underlying Oracle database, Argos, AppMan, and all other systems reliant upon the database will be unavailable for approximately 5 hours.
There will be no impact to other systems such as: University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, video surveillance systems, electronic door access systems, and the application for admission.
To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to the Banner environment this Sunday morning.
