System Outage: Transfer Credit Reevaluations and Preapprovals (TCRP)

System Outage Notification

Update, July 11, 2023:

We are still experiencing problems with the Transfer Credit Reevaluations and Preapprovals system. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on these problems and improve the TCRP system. We will post updates here as we have more information.


Thank you to the many people who have reported issues with the Transfer Credit Reevaluations and Preapprovals (TCRP) system. We understand that the current unavailability of this important tool may cause inconvenience for those seeking course equivalencies or reevaluations. Fixing the problem is taking longer than anticipated, but please know that our team is actively investigating the issue and working toward a resolution as quickly as possible. We hope to start releasing incremental fixes next week during the week of June 26th.

In the meantime, we want to offer our assistance in helping you navigate this situation.

  • If you are seeking an exact course equivalency, we recommend reaching out to the department head for the course(s) in question.
  • For those seeking a GEC code (general education) reevaluation, please contact Ross Hawkins at RossHawkins@MissouriState.edu.
  • Similarly, for those seeking a PEU code (professional education) reevaluation, please contact Juli Panza at JuliPanza@MissouriState.edu.

UPDATED: Telephones – Incoming and Outgoing Calling Issues

We are currently having issue with our telephone carrier that affects incoming and some outgoing calling. The carrier is aware of the issue and it has been escalated.

UPDATED 06/21/2023: Escalated to ATT top tier. They are indicating a physical circuit issue and have a team investigating.

UPDATED 06/21/2023: We are seeing all services restored. There may be some short testing done but should be very short.

Dynamic Forms Login Issue

Update – July 6th:

We are continuing to collaborate with the vendor to address this problem. If clearing your browser cache and trying a new browser doesn’t resolve the issue, you can utilize the link below to access Dynamic Forms:

Some users are currently experiencing login issues with Dynamic Forms. We are aware of this issue and actively investigating it.

To resolve the problem, you should try clearing your browser cache or using a new web browser. We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for use with Dynamic Forms. If the issue persists after trying these workarounds, please contact Nicole Zhou for further assistance.

Telephones – Avaya mobile client

We are currently seeing some strange behaviors out of the Avaya Mobile Client on mobile phones and on some computers. We have Avaya support looking at the issue. The behaviors consist of incomplete calls or error messages on the client. If you receive any message on the client to log out, update, or a red triangle ignore unless Telecom posts a message or contacts you to do otherwise.

Avaya Workplace Mobile iPhone – Ring Notification

Apple push notification for the Avaya Workplace mobile app has moved to a new server. iPhone users may have to reset their application and log back-in in order to get phone calls to ring on the mobile phone when the phone is asleep.  

 

Avaya Workplace Reset Instructions for iPhones

  • Open the Avaya Workplace application on the iPhone 
  • Select the menu bar in the upper left corner (three horizontal lines)
  • Select the gear at the top of the screen
  • Select ‘Support’ from the menu on the left side of the screen
  • Select ‘Reset Application’ at the bottom of the screen 
  • Answer ‘OK’ when you see ‘Reset application to the same state as a new install?’
    • The application will disappear from the screen

Log Into the Avaya Workplace

  • Select ‘Avaya Workplace’ from your phone apps
  • Select ‘Configure my Account’
    • In the Email field enter your Bear Pass ID + @missouristate.edu (don’t enter your email address)
      • i.e. bear123@missouristate.edu
    • Select ‘Next’ to continue
  • On the Username and Password window 
    • In the Username field enter your Bear Pass ID + @missouristate.edu (don’t enter your email address)
      • i.e. bear123@missouristate.edu
    • In the Password field enter your Bearpass password. This is the password that you use to log onto your workstation.
    • Select ‘Next’
  • If Multi Factor Authentication comes up, approve the request using your normal MFA authentication method 
  • Accept additional prompts that may come up until you get to the tutorial screen
  • Skip the tutorial is you like and then your phone setup is finished

Resolved: Blackboard Error Loading Documents

Update: As of 1:30PM (10/25), there is a fix in place and the issue is now resolved.

Blackboard is currently experiencing an error when loading documents as shown below. This can impact general content in a course as well as assignment files of all types for both students and faculty. The problem is related to Blackboard’s cloud storage vendor and a fix should be in place shortly. We will update this blog post with additional information as soon as possible.
