Banner Upgrades – June 25th – 26th, 2021

On June 25 – 26, 2021, the University’s degree audit and student educational planner software, Degree Works, will be upgraded and therefore unavailable.

Please note that Degree Works, the underlying Oracle database, Argos, AppMan, Custom web applications, and all other systems reliant upon the Degree Works database will be unavailable for approximately 1 day starting on Friday, June 25th at Noon.

There will be no impact to other systems such as: Admin Banner, Banner production database, BDM, Argos reports for Banner production, most Custom web applications, University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, CashNet, video surveillance systems, electronic door access systems, and the application for admission.

To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to Degree Works.

Greetings! The ODS/EDW upgrades have been completed and verified by Information Services personnel.

The ODS/EDW upgrades were completed Monday, May 31, at 1:24 AM.

Banner Upgrades – Saturday, May 29, 2021 – Monday, May 31, 2021

On May 29 – 31, 2021, the ODS/EDW will be upgraded and therefore unavailable.

Please note that ODS/EDW, the underlying Oracle database, Argos, AppMan, Custom web applications, and all other systems reliant upon the ODS/EDW database will be unavailable for approximately 3 days starting on Saturday, May 29th morning starting at 8 AM.

There will be no impact to other systems such as: Admin Banner, Banner production database, BDM, Argos reports for Banner production, most Custom web applications, University networks, phone systems, main websites, Blackboard, Office 365, email services, CashNet, video surveillance systems, electronic door access systems, and the application for admission.

To maintain the University’s technology infrastructure at the level required to ensure reliable and secure delivery of services and technologies, Information Services will be applying updates to the Banner environment on Sunday morning.
